Position Overview:

As a Go Developer at Koi Consulting, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable software solutions. You will play a crucial role in the development of cutting-edge applications and contribute to the overall success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features
• Integrate with PostgreSQL databases to store, retrieve, and manipulate data
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient APIs for our applications
• Implement containerization solutions using Kubernetes or Docker
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
• Ensure code quality, organization, and automation
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a large focus on Go (Golang)
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience in working with relational databases
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes or Docker
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, documentation, and version control (Git)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with remote teams

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Compensation package:

• 1099 contract
